How to wake up at five o’clock in the morning

If you want to easily wake up at 5am, you need to get good quality sleep on a regular basis. Nowadays, most people are not getting plenty of sleep.

According to experts, lack of sleep can cause many health issues.

Staying up late and staring at smartphone screens can disrupt your sleep cycle. As a matter of fact, we need to change most of our habits as they are detrimental to our sleep patterns.

If you are determined to wake up at 5am, you must get good quality sleep.

  1. Exercise after you wake up

Good quality sleep depends on what you do when you wake up. The first 90 minutes are very important. Exercising in the morning can help you improve your sleep significantly. These physical activities tell your body that it is daytime.

So you should get out of your bed and engage in some physical activities before taking your breakfast. This habit sends the signal to your brain that it is daytime.

Taking exercise in the morning can help improve your cognition. When you move around, your brain releases endorphins and cortisol. As a result, you tend to feed more alert and full of energy. It can be more effective than a cup of coffee.

Another benefit of morning exercise is that it will boost your metabolism.

Exercise also increases your core temperature, which will help your body burn more calories during the day. If you want to enjoy more benefits, you can have a cup of green tea or black coffee before exercise.

This habit will remove fatty acids while you are working out.

If you exercise before breakfast, your body burns sugar instead of oxygen. As a result, your body can’t access enough sugar. So, it turns to fat reserves to produce energy. And this is how you can keep yourself physically and mentally fit.

Most of us follow a sedentary lifestyle. 

The good news is that you can offset the negative effects of this lifestyle. If you exercise in the morning, you can stay alert throughout the day.

Morning Workout

Tips to get started:

Get at least 5 minutes of exercise in the morning. All you need to do is get up 5 minutes earlier. Taking away 5 minutes from your day time is not a big deal. Choose a time and stick to it.
During these 5 minutes, you can do your desired physical activities. For instance, you can take a short walk, engage in a yoga session or do a quick workout at the gym.
