My story is an inspiring one because my business started to succeed after my first attempt, which was full of challenges. This was my first time trying to start a business in a new environment. To begin with, I had no business and management skills. All I had then was the guidance of my mentor, who was also one of my first clients (Ivor). I took his advice seriously, and I continued to try until I finally built the business into what it is today. What am I trying to say? Every successful business out there has failed at a point along the way.
When a business cannot continue to generate revenue from its product or service, such a business is likely to fail. Even a profitable business fails when the expenses are more than the profit generated. There are so many reasons why some businesses go out of the market. I can say here that since 2007 I have been involved with properties too, and I really enjoy it. It is not easy but is a good passive income if you have a good maintenance team and look after your tenants.

If you are passionate about promoting a green environment, you can consider starting a waste disposal business. To begin this business, first, you need to think of where your target customers can be. There are different types of waste collection services that you can render to domestic and commercial buildings. For instance, you can think of offering your service to those involved with the use of pesticides or agrochemicals generally. Similarly, you can also consider offering your services in offices by collecting plastics and other used items ready for disposal or recycling.
Food
Food is one of the most basic needs of everyone; it is a necessity that cannot be overlooked. People can never stop eating because we need the energy and nutrients from food. This makes the food industry one of the hottest niches to venture into. You can consider going into agriculture, food processing or food deliveries. There are several sub-groups to venture into in the food industry that will not fail. This industry is filled with many opportunities for people who like to gain new knowledge and learn new skills. The world is fast becoming digitalised, and everyone is in the online space. It would be best to consider going into sectors like data science, machine language or cloud computing. Everything we do these days needs technology to make life easier and more comfortable. Business owners are looking for more ways to make their services more technology inclined. For instance, think of those having arthritis or suffering from obesity. They all want a solution to their problem. Identify a particular sub-niche in this hot industry and start your journey.
