Mercedes-Benz is generally referred to as Mercedes for short and is familiar to everyone. They are well known for the production of luxury cars. The company was founded by Karl Benz, Emil Jelinek, Gottlieb Daimler, and Wilhelm Maybach in 1926. Stuttgart, Germany, is where their headquarters are, with over 90 branches worldwide. Their vehicles are manufactured and distributed globally, but the manufacturing takes place in 17 countries.
How did the whole idea of the Musk and Mercedes connection get started? Roughly, at a conference on December 1, 2020, Musk reported that he is open to welcoming new and creative ideas for a deal with carmakers. Daimler made its plan known to invest $1 billion into producing electric vehicles, this was mentioned in one of its twitter messages, and it also included it’s goal on electrification. In response to this tweet, Elon Musk shows them how much of an investment he has made into producing electric cars.
In addition, there is a new brand called EQ which will be the foundation for the production of the Mercedes electric SUV, Daimler announced this information. However, back in the days, the German automobile maker had meetings with Elon Musk to see if there was a possibility of cooperation between them to produce a version of electric cars with Mercedes-Benz. Tesla and Mercedes’s relationship didn’t start today and it began about a decade ago. They both worked together on Musk’s electric automaker. The electric automaker is capable of providing lithium-ion batteries. In the same year, Daimler took a step and acquired a stake in Tesla. It was an investment, and they paid $50 million; all this took place in 2009. In 2014, Daimler sold a stake of under 10 per cent for about $780 million.
Mercedes need electric powertrains to power their Mercedes. These electric powertrains were provided by Tesla. However, the news of Elon Musk’s plan to buy Mercedes is yet to be made official, though it is a rumour that has been around for a while. Mercedes also produces commercial vehicles. They are advanced and luxurious in their production of cars. They have also demonstrated a high level of creativity in their innovation. Globally, they are known to be the world’s oldest car maker. With this record, will it be possible for Elon Musk to take over the company? They have fantabulous designs ranging from sports cars to SUVs. As early as 1906, the company has been in operation. They also have a record of producing only safe vehicles with first-class comfort.
Now, the question – “is Tesla capable of buying Mercedes”? Will the deal be beneficial to Tesla in any way?

He planned to achieve this by bringing more electric cars into existence. Tesla’s business model is a successful one. They also took a step forward to sell components to other auto manufacturers needing powertrains; this is where Mercedes tends to fall in.
